Sam Heyworth

Vice President, Consumables Amazon

Sam Heyworth is Vice President, Consumables, at Amazon. He oversees all US Consumables core categories including Health & Personal Care, Beauty, Ambient Grocery, Baby and Pets. He also leads several of Amazon’s worldwide shopping programs, including Subscribe & Save, Baby Registry, Climate Pledge Friendly, and SNAP EBT on Amazon.

During his 20 years at Amazon, Sam has held a variety of business leadership positions in Amazon’s Stores and Digital divisions, with expertise in product development and management, supply chain and operations, merchandising, promotions, replenishment, category leadership, and business strategy. He holds 14 patents through his work at Amazon, and enjoys inventing new products, services and business models with his teams on behalf of customers.

Prior to Amazon, Sam was an executive at Fidelity Investments in their e-Business division. Sam received his B.A. from Yale and his M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He lives in Seattle with his wife and two children, where they enjoy hiking, boating, and traveling.
