Sarah Lee and Christine Chang are the co-CEOs and co-founders of Glow Recipe, a clinically-effective, fruit-forward brand known for clean, efficacious and cruelty-free skincare innovations. Since its inception in 2017, Glow Recipe has paired the latest technologies and ingredients with education to empower consumers to bring out their glow, while remaining loyal to its core values of real skin acceptance, inclusivity and sustainability. Glow Recipe has built a hyper-engaged global community and has expanded its footprint as a top ranked skincare brand across North America, Europe, Australia, South East Asia, Mexico, and the Middle East. The Company has received extensive global press coverage and accolades for their market leadership, social community, and beauty content in outlets such as Forbes, Vogue, Fortune, Business Insider, Inc, and ABC’s Shark Tank. Glow Recipe was also included on CNBC’s Upstart 100 List and has received industry honors including Glossy’s 2023 Brand of the Year Award, WWD’s 2023 Category Builder of the Year Award, Adweek’s Creator Visionary Awards and Allure’s Best of Beauty Awards.
Under Sarah and Christine’s leadership and vision, Glow Recipe continues to see explosive year-over-year growth, most recently reaching $300M in 2023 retail sales. The Company plans to launch in multiple new markets across the EU and South America in 2024.

Sarah Lee
Prior to co-founding Glow Recipe in 2014, Sarah had an extensive 11-year career at L’Oréal, launching and leading multiple brands spanning skincare, makeup, and haircare. Sarah started her career at L’Oréal Korea, where she played a key role in launching Giorgio Armani Cosmetics Korea. She was then selected as L’Oréal’s first-ever Korean expat to NYC, where she joined the Matrix Global team. Sarah later transitioned to Lancôme USA, where she led makeup product development and partnerships with retailers such as Sephora, Ulta, and Macy’s. Prior to departing L’Oréal, Sarah was AVP and category head of haircare for L’Oréal Paris. Sarah blends her deep understanding of product formulation science with years of successfully bringing brands to market to drive strategy and execution of Glow Recipe’s vision. Sarah resides in Miami with her husband and newborn son.

Christine Chang
Christine started her beauty career at L’Oréal Korea where she was first part of the Lancôme marketing team, then joined Kiehl’s Since 1851 and helped to spearhead a turnaround into a top 5 brand in the competitive local market. After completing a masters program at Columbia University, Christine returned to L’Oréal and was tapped to join the global business development and marketing team at the Kiehl’s NY headquarters leveraging her international experience. During this time, she spearheaded a variety of functions including global business development, retail, marketing and digital strategy for 40+ countries. Her last position was as AVP and category head of skincare, where she was responsible for the brand’s fast growing skincare business. Christine’s expertise in skincare formulations paired with her strategic experience in launching and scaling brands has fueled Glow Recipe’s global expansion. Christine resides in New York City with her husband and daughter.
