Tara is a dynamic executive with 20+ years of experience within the data analytics and consumer insights industry. Tara has a proven track record of leading highly successful teams to drive proactive insights that guide consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturers through business challenges – particularly within the beauty and personal care space.
Since joining Nielsen in 2000, Tara has partnered with a diverse array of clients to develop innovative solutions, leverage new technology platforms, drive marketing and sales strategies and identify unmet consumer needs. In Tara’s current role, she is the leading voice for Nielsen’s Beauty and Personal Care Vertical, dedicated to tracking the total health and beauty retail landscape and its consumers. Nielsen’s Beauty and Personal Care insights cover 100 global markets, providing the industry’s most total view into omnichannel consumption and, in turn, empowering the next decade of beauty.
As a senior member of the Nielsen Leadership team, she is accountable for leading strong, dynamic teams that deliver Nielsen’s broad portfolio of services to clients while assisting them in the pursuit of growth and value creation.
Tara earned a B.A. degree in Psychology at Ramapo College of New Jersey. Prior to joining Nielsen she worked as a fragrance evaluator for Robert Fragrances. Tara resides in northern New Jersey with her two children and husband. She has passion for the arts, gardening, travel and cooking.
