Vinima Shekhar
Vice President, Beauty Walmart USVinima Shekhar is a seasoned retail executive with extensive experience spanning manufacturing, merchandising, eCommerce, and fintech. She currently serves as the Head of Beauty at Walmart, where she leads strategy, innovation, and business performance for one of the company’s most dynamic and fast-growing categories.
Over her seven years at Walmart, Vinima has held multiple leadership roles, including leading the Wellness business, where she expanded access to affordable health and wellness products and services for millions of customers. Her leadership philosophy is grounded in inclusivity, trust, and performance excellence, with a deep commitment to developing high-performing teams and empowering the next generation of leaders.
Prior to Walmart, Vinima built a strong foundation in the manufacturing sector across sales, marketing, operations, and business development. Her global perspective has been shaped by experiences in Thailand and Hong Kong, as well as through co-founding a digitally native venture that evolved into a non-profit organization supporting families in need.
Vinima serves on the Board of the American Heart Association for Northwest Arkansas and as an Advisor to the Board of NextUp, an organization focused on advancing diverse leadership. She has been recognized among Drug Store News’ “Top Women in Health, Beauty, and Wellness” and Mass Market Retailer’s “Most Influential Women in Retail.
