Sephora Belgium Established, Polite Society Splashes Into Skin Care, Pinterest Predicts 2026 Report Drops, Perfect Corp Reveals AI's Impact On Holiday Shopping Habits, Indē Wild, “The Rhode Of India”, Makes International Waves

Sephora has announced that it has “formally established” a Belgian subsidiary in Brussels, reports Global Cosmetics News, “marking LVMH’s move to enter Belgium’s prestige beauty retail sector.” The newly named Sephora Belgium has been registered on Avenue Louise. Its board includes Managing Director Benoît Ponte, among other senior Sephora leaders.

In other breaking news this morning, Polite Society, the makeup brand created by Too Faced co-founders Jeremy Johnson and Jerrod Blandino, is splashing into skin care. The French Rose Milk will be available on the brand’s website and at Ulta Beauty on December 21.

Here at CEW, we unpack Perfect Corp.’s new trend report, which explores how AI is becoming more mainstream, with consumers using the tech to help find holiday gifts and personalized product recommendations. The report draws on data from Perfect Corp.’s consumer survey, which was carried out via the YouCam apps community, in combination with the Spate Popularity Index.

Speaking of trends, Pinterest’s annual Pinterest Predicts 2026 report has dropped, offering a glimpse into future trends of note. “Rather than jumping between the fleeting looks of mass-made fast-fashion, consumers are choosing trends that deliver non-conformity, authenticity and a sense of escapism, “reports Cosmetics Business. “Two trends that capture this transition most clearly are ‘Glitchy Glam’ and ‘Cool Blue’ – contrasting yet complementary trends that signal where beauty’s emotional and creative energy is heading next.”

Dubbed “the Rhode of India”, indē wild is making international waves, according to Beauty Matter. “FUTURE50 brand indē wild has demonstrated how a brand can be rooted in heritage while still being cool, performance led, and irresistible,” it reports.
