Belmont Cameli For TRESemmés New Campaign; Kylie Cosmetics Teases New Fragrance Launch; MCoBeauty Dupes Urban Decay; Forta Cosmetics Has Earned A Place In Sephora’s Accelerate Program; Quince Appoints Lindsey Peterson To Lead Beauty Merchandising

Recent innovative hair care and fragrances developments, as well as affordable makeup solutions, highlight how companies are finding new ways to connect with customers and stand out in a competitive market.

TRESemmé has introduced its expanded Bouncy Curls Collection with a fun summer campaign featuring actor Belmont Cameli. The campaign highlights easy-to-use products designed for people with wavy and curly hair who want defined, soft curls without heavy styling products or frizz, even in humid weather. The collection was created with feedback from curly-haired creators to better meet the needs of those with 2B–3B hair textures. Along with online videos and styling tips from professionals, the brand will host a summer event in Brooklyn where fans can celebrate their curls. The affordable product line aims to deliver salon-inspired results while making daily hair routines quicker and more enjoyable. (PR Newswire)

In addition to new launches, Kylie Cosmetics is expanding its fragrance lineup with the upcoming Mood Stone collection. The new release includes three separate perfumes, each created with its own unique personality and design. The bottles feature smooth, stone-inspired shapes in soft pink, beige, and black tones, reflecting the theme of the collection. The fragrances will first be available on the brand’s website before arriving at Ulta Beauty shortly afterward. This launch continues Kylie Jenner’s growing success in the perfume market, following the popularity of her Cosmic fragrance series, which has expanded over the past few years with several new versions. Another beauty launch comes from MCoBeauty, which is introducing its new All Dayer Setting Spray made with the original formula once created by Skindinavia for Urban Decay’s popular setting spray. The brand is offering the same long-lasting performance and cooling technology at a much lower price, making it more affordable for everyday shoppers. Launching first online before expanding to Superdrug stores, the product reflects MCoBeauty’s goal of delivering high-quality beauty items without luxury price tags. As demand for makeup that lasts all day continues to grow, the brand hopes this release will appeal to both longtime fans of the original formula and consumers looking for a budget-friendly alternative. Continuing the trend of beauty brands focusing on performance and innovation, Forta Cosmetics has earned a place in Sephora’s Accelerate program. Founded by WNBA player Lexie Hull and her former college roommate Sarah Guller, the brand was inspired by the need for makeup that stays in place during workouts, sports, and other active lifestyles. Their first product, a sweat-resistant setting spray, quickly attracted attention after its successful launch. Forta aims to create beauty products that combine durability with everyday wear, making them useful for athletes as well as busy professionals. By joining Sephora’s business development program, the company hopes to strengthen its brand while expanding its product line and reaching more consumers in the future. (Beauty Independent)

Meanwhile, Quince is strengthening its position in the beauty industry by appointing Lindsey Peterson as its first Head of Merchandising for Beauty. Drawing on her background in luxury retail and digital commerce, Peterson will oversee the company’s beauty selection, merchandising strategy, and partnerships with brands. Her hiring reflects Quince’s plans to thoughtfully grow its beauty business while maintaining the same focus on quality and value that has helped the company succeed in other product categories. Rather than rushing into the market, Quince aims to carefully build a collection that meets customer expectations. More information about its upcoming beauty products and brand collaborations is expected to be shared in the future. (CEW)
