Tracking With WYN Beauty by Serena Williams, Discothèque Debuts Nightclub Fragrances, Margot Robbie's First Chanel No5 Film Campaign, Rhode Taps Claudia Schiffer As New Face, Why Beauty Loves F1, Glow Recipe To Host Night Market, Bath & Body Works Withdraws Holiday Candle

At CEW today, we report on WYN Beauty by Serena Williams’ moves to prove that the active beauty range can withstand the rigours of sports and consumers’ day-to-day hustle. The brand recently put its formulas to the test at the Athlos NYC — Speed Has a New Sound track event, featuring Gabby Thomas and Brittany Brown, where it provided beauty services as its official beauty partner. WYN is currently sold at 685 Ulta Beauty stores. “Our tagline is Your Strength, Your Beauty,” said Chidinma Asonye, WYN’s Chief Commercial Officer. “Those things can go hand in hand with the idea that a female athlete can be both strong and beautiful.”

In fragrance news, luxury fragrance brand Discothèque has launched seven new perfumes exclusively at Selfridges, inspired by the scent of famous nightclubs. Meanwhile, Margot Robbie’s first campaign film for Chanel N°5 has released, co-starring actor Jacob Elordi, titled ‘See You at Five.’ Speaking of celebrity campaigns, Hailey Bieber’s Rhode has a new famous face: Claudia Schiffer. The supermodel appears in the ad campaign for the new Barrier Butter moisture balm.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Glow Recipe is gearing up for Night Market, a “one-of-its-kind experience” inspired by the night markets of Korea. The event will take place this Friday through Sunday, at 8175 Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Beauty Matter has published a deep-dive into the beauty industry’s growing interest in Formula One racing, which has moved up a gear with the announcement that LVMH is partnering with F1. Earlier this year, Puig brand Charlotte Tilbury announced that it was sponsoring F1 Academy. “Motorsport now has a huge female following, and the drivers of F1 Academy are already increasing representation and diversity in the sport,” said Susie Wolff MBE, Managing Director of F1 Academy.

In breaking news, Bath & Body works has withdrawn its Snowed In holiday candle, “because the label’s design resembled uniforms worn by the Ku Klux Klan” reports Beauty Packaging. The brand has also issued an apology.
