Three Rounds. One Standard of Excellence.
Phase 1: Industry Leaders
The journey begins with senior beauty executives who review more than 1,000 product submissions, identifying the launches that are pushing the industry forward through innovation, performance, and market impact.
Phase 2: Beauty Experts
Editors, dermatologists, estheticians, makeup artists, and other product specialists put the finalists to the test. Over several weeks—including CEW’s multi-day product evaluation—they assess everything from formulation and ingredient innovation to efficacy and real-world performance.
Phase 3: The CEW Community
Finally, CEW members cast the deciding vote. These are the beauty professionals who use, recommend, and champion the industry’s best products every day. Following the Beauty Expo, where finalists are showcased for one last look, members select the winners that truly deserve beauty’s highest honor.
Key Submission Dates:
- Early Entries: February 2 – March 9, 2026
- Regular Entries: March 10 – 29, 2026
- Extended Entries: March 30 – April 17, 2026
- All deadlines close at 11:59 PM EST

Submission Fees
- Early Entries: $700 per product
Note: The Product Information Form must be 100% complete prior to the early deadline to receive the applicable rate. - Regular Entries: $775 per product
A product that is entered in multiple categories will incur a separate entry fee for each category submitted. - The entry fee covers all associated costs, including processing and research required of the CEW staff and Finalist Nominating Committee, to determine the winners.
