The beauty industry is continuing to expand and evolve, with brands exploring new markets, partnerships, and ways to connect with consumers. From international expansion to major retail collaborations, these latest moves show how beauty companies are adapting to changing consumer interests and a more global market.
Italian beauty brand Kiko Milano has returned to New York City with its first permanent store in more than 10 years. The new 1,700-square-foot location in SoHo combines a soft lilac color scheme with Italian-inspired arches and sleek Milanese metal details. Rather than relying on short-term pop-ups, the brand is focusing on creating a lasting presence for beauty shoppers. The opening was celebrated with free products, personalized engraving, and make-up services inspired by Italy. Kiko Milano is also planning to open a store in Miami later this month. The expansion comes as the brand looks to grow its presence in the U.S. and build on its recent partnership with Madonna. (Cosmetics Business)
Pureseoul has teamed up with Primark to introduce a new K-Beauty Mini Mart, making Korean beauty products more affordable and accessible to U.K. shoppers. The collection includes skin care, sun care, face masks, and makeup from seven Korean beauty brands, such as Dermablock, The Essential, and CERABASE. Unlike typical beauty dupes, these products are linked to established Korean companies and use the expertise and formulas of their parent brands. The range has been created for wider distribution while keeping prices suitable for budget-conscious shoppers. The partnership also gives Korean beauty companies a new way to reach a larger audience through Primark’s popular high-street stores. (Global Cosmetics News)
TRESemmé is celebrating 20 years as a major hair care sponsor at New York Fashion Week. During that time, the brand has worked on more than 125 runway shows alongside thousands of professional stylists. To mark the milestone, TRESemmé is highlighting some of its most well-known products, including its Signature Style Extra Hold Hairspray. The brand will once again create runway looks for the spring/summer 2027 collections of Christian Siriano, Christian Cowan, and Cult Gaia. TRESemmé has also expanded its range to reflect changing beauty trends, with products focused on curls, smooth blowouts, shine, and flexible hold. Its goal remains to bring professional-quality styling from the runway into everyday routines. (PR Newswire)
Belle Brands has acquired hair care company Vegamour, as it looks to help revive the brand after a major drop in sales. Vegamour, known for its hair-growth and scalp-care products, once reached around $140 million in annual sales but now brings in just over $50 million. Belle Brands plans to keep most of Vegamour’s existing team while moving some operations into its shared business structure. The company will focus on improving inventory, product development, and its relationship with Sephora, Vegamour’s exclusive retail partner. Its popular GRO hair serums remain central to the brand. The acquisition adds Vegamour to Belle Brands’ growing portfolio, alongside brands including JVN Hair, Versed, KVD Beauty, and Pipette. (Beauty Independent)
Chinese skin care brand PROYA is preparing to enter the U.S. market through a major partnership with Ulta Beauty. Starting in November, its products will be available in 400 Ulta stores and online, introducing American shoppers to one of China’s leading beauty brands. PROYA will launch its Advanced Firming and Original Repair collections, focusing on skin care concerns such as aging and skin barrier support. The partnership gives PROYA access to Ulta’s large customer base while helping the retailer expand its selection of Asian beauty brands beyond K-beauty. The move could also open the door for other Chinese beauty companies hoping to build a stronger presence in Western markets. (Beauty Matter)
