Perfectly timed for red carpet season, Lancôme has revealed today that Joy Sunday will be its newest global ambassador. Her first worldwide campaign for Lancôme will appear in February.
In executive news, CEW reports on the naming of Neela Montgomery as Orveon Global’s new Chief Executive Officer. In other moves, after 15 years as Director of International Communications at Parfums Christian Dior, Jérôme Pulis is going to Augustinus Bader as its new head of Global Brand Marketing and Communications.
A sign of the snap-up-the-cool-young-brands times, Kosas is reported to have hired bankers to explore a potential sale of the Gen-Z-loved beauty brand. The company was founded in 2015 by Sheena Zadeh-Daly, who launched with four lipsticks, and focuses on science-backed, clean ingredients. The news comes at the same time that fellow beauty start-up Merit Beauty, backed by Greycroft Partners, is said to be exploring a potential sale process.
