In 2024, CEW is continuing to expand the scope of its DEI initiative, now with a broader focus on workplace Belonging. This includes race, ethnicity, religion, gender identification, disability status, mental health – and all of the ways in which these intersect within an individual. And, given the proximity of the forum to the presidential election, and several states outlawing DEI initiatives, this year’s forum will touch on the macro influence of politics on DEIB in beauty.
