Mariya Nurislamova is a co-founder and CEO of Scentbird – a fragrance subscription service that allows consumers to date perfumes before marrying them. Under the Scentbird umbrella Mariya is currently running 4 other beauty brands: Confessions of a Rebel – a crowdsourced fragrance brand, Deck of Scarlet – a clean makeup brand, Goodhabit – a skincare brand that protects against artificial blue light and Sanctuary – a fragrance brand on a mission to save animals threatened with extinction. 

 

Mariya has a background in applied mathematics, computer science and marketing. She is a serial entrepreneur having co-founded an IT-outsourcing company and a fashion startup in the past. Prior to her entrepreneurial career, Mariya was a speed-reading coach.
