Melissa Butler is the Founder and CEO of The Lip Bar, A vegan beauty Brand that exists to disrupt and outdated industry. Bothered by traditional brands and their linear approach to beauty Melissa took on an unknowingly large task. Without formal training or personal passion for makeup, Melissa began making products in her Brooklyn kitchen. She soon left her job on Wall Street to keep up with the demand, moved he business to Detroit, MI and hasn’t looked back since!

“Everyone deserves to have representation. Without it, we are left seeking validation.” It is her goal to empower women everywhere of all ages, races, and body types to be confident in their own skin.

Melissa’s mission is to constantly remind every woman that they are enough!
