When Pfeiffer became a mother over two decades ago, she began to pay more attention to the products that she and her family were exposed to. Without any regulation or required disclosure around fragrance ingredients, she stopped wearing perfume and any products with fragrance for years. Eventually, Pfeiffer became fed up with constantly having to choose between high quality products and healthier alternatives, and decided to challenge the industry status quo by creating a line of products that disclose 100% of its ingredients.
After a journey that spanned over a decade, Pfeiffer launched Henry Rose in 2019 based on the strictest health, safety, and environmental standards set forth by two industry leading non-profit organizations—the Environmental Working Group (EWG) and Cradle to Cradle (C2C) Products Innovation Institute. It is the first line of fine fragrance to receive the distinctions of EWG Verified® and Cradle to Cradle Certified™, thereby raising the bar for quality and safety within the personal care industry.
