SVP & Global General Manager GLAMGLOW

Paula Pontes is Senior Vice President & Global General Manager of GLAMGLOW, the skincare social sensation brand of the ESTEE LAUDER COMPANIES. Paula has been leading the GLAMGLOW team, based in Hollywood, California, since November of 2016. Paula’s motto is “when there is a will there is a way,” and together with her team they constantly redefine new ways of doing things. Paula is laser-focused on listening to the consumer and integrating insights in real time into business decisions.

Paula first joined the ESTEE LAUDER COMPANIES in 2009 as part of the Corporate Strategy Team. She then led the Integration of Smashbox Cosmetics in Los Angeles. In 2012, she then relocated to Brazil where she served as the General Manager for the country overseeing all ELC brands.

Paula started her career in Management Consulting working for The Boston Consulting Group in their Consumer Practice. After consulting, Paula focused her career on women’s consumer brands. She worked for L Brands in Innovation and New Concepts Creations, and then later joined Swarovski Consumer as EVP of Strategy.

She has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Paula speaks four languages and has lived in Brazil, Australia, Switzerland and New York. Paula is from Brazil and now resides in Los Angeles with her rescue dog, Ayla, and they love going hiking in the canyons.
