This morning, August 10, the industry mourns a beauty legend: the celebrity hairstylist and salon owner John Barrett. Beloved by magazine editors, celebrities, and socialites alike, Barrett ran the salon at Bergdorf Goodman for 20 years. “John was an absolute legend in the beauty industry,” says CEW Chief Content Officer Amy Synnott. “He had a wicked sense of humor and his personality could light up a room.
