Ulta Beauty is adding dermatologist-backed skin care range Drmtlgy to its brand portfolio, at both its brick-and-mortar stores and online. “Joining Ulta Beauty marks an incredible milestone in Drmtlgy’s journey,” Scott Futterman, cofounder and Chief Executive Officer of Drmtlgy, told WWD. “Our mission has always been to bridge the gap between dermatological efficacy and everyday accessibility, and Ulta’s national presence allows us to do just that.” The products will be available beginning December 26.

In other breaking news, Sukoshi, the Asian beauty retailer, is planning to open the doors to a number of new locations across North America, including Miami, Atlanta, and New Jersey.

According to Global Cosmetics News, the investment firm Ardian has inked a joint venture with Kering covering its landmark, luxury New York luxury retail property at 715–717 Fifth Avenue in New York. “Under the agreement, Ardian holds a 60% stake in the newly created vehicle, with Kering retaining 40%,” it reports. “The Fifth Avenue asset comprises approximately 115,000 sq. ft of multi-level luxury retail space and is located on one of the world’s most valuable shopping corridors.”
