The German beauty retailer Douglas has reported that Q1 profits have fallen short of analyst forecasts, resulting in a 16% stock drop, reports Global Cosmetics News. “The retailer, known for carrying prestige cosmetics brands like Chanel and Dior, blamed intensified promotions amid cooling demand for the missed results,” the article reports. 

Another Formula 1 motorsport X beauty brand partnership has been unveiled: Parfums Givenchy has tapped the French Formula 1 driver Pierre Gasly as its latest face. Gasly will be an ambassador for the Gentleman Givenchy fragrances, appearing in the ad campaigns. 

According to Spate’s new Popularity Index, tortoise and glass nails are the fastest-growing trends in nail art in the US right now. Searches for “tortoise nails” have grown by +314.0% in comparison with last year, according to the trend tracking company, gaining traction across platforms.
