The largest B2B beauty exhibition in America, Cosmoprof North America (CPNA), is set to return to the Las Vegas Convention Center next month, signaling its 20th edition and marking Sin City as one of the hottest spots for the beauty industry to be (both literally and figuratively) from July 11 to July 13. While the show’s biggest attractions will remain – endless aisles of booths brimming with beauty innovation, panel discussions featuring the latest news and information, three days of networking – this year’s show will consolidate finished goods with Cosmoprof’s packaging exhibition, Cosmopack, into one massive hall.

Liza Rapay, Head of North American Marketing for CPNA, lists other new features to be featured on the trade show floor and in educational sessions.

“We have exciting new topics,” says Liza. “Wendy Liebmann, [CEO of WSL Strategic Retail] will make her CPNA debut as the moderator of a panel with retailers including SpaceNK, CVS, and Thirteen Lune.” Another panel, moderated by Beautymatter’s Kelly Novack, will follow, but reporting from a brand perspective.

The show’s Buyer Program, one of Cosmoprof’s most anticipated initiatives bringing together retailers and brands in focused, one-on-one meetings, “has more retailers participating this year than ever before.” Among those slated to participate are buyers from Bloomingdale’s, Walmart, Nordstrom, Costco, Neiman Marcus, Macy’s, The Detox Market, Belk, Thirteen Lune, and Sally Beauty.

Industry expert Karen Young returns to host Entrepreneur Academy, an initiative that provides data to beauty entrepreneurs to help them succeed in the beauty industry. This year’s topics include product creation, marketing, and winning strategies on Amazon.

Circana’s Larissa Jensen, Yarden Horwitz of Spate, Lan Vu of BeautyStreams are among the data providers to host panels and presentations within an action-packed schedule of educational sessions.

Cosmopack Education, a program of free informational sessions with topics ranging from sustainable packaging to the evolution of sun care, will return following standing-room-only attendances in 2022.

In addition, Liza notes the return of Discover Black-Owned Beauty, an area of the trade show floor that received lots attention in 2022.

Cosmoprof and Cosmopack’s annual awards program will return, with winners being displayed at the 2024 edition of Cosmoprof Bologna, along with all the product winners from Cosmoprof’s various regional shows, she says.
