Melis del Rey is a Health and Beauty General Manager at Amazon U.S. Stores. She is responsible for driving growth, profitability and shopping experience innovation for the Health and Beauty sector on Amazon. She also overseas Amazon’s strategic business programs such as Selection, Pricing, Marketing and Data Insights for US Consumables.

Melis has developed her career for more than 20 years in Consumer Product Goods with expertise in Health & Beauty Industry and Online Retail working in leading multinational companies in a variety of leadership roles and countries. She is passionate about building and developing businesses globally and has proven track record in e-commerce, brand building, strategy development, P&L management, and influencing key stakeholders to build support for common goals; developing and executing business plans.

Prior to joining Amazon 10 years ago, Melis spent 11 years serving at Procter & Gamble, in leadership roles of global brands’ marketing and sales. She holds a B.Eng. in Manufacturing Engineering and Operations Management and Ph.D. in New Product Development & Engineering Design both from Nottingham University, Nottingham UK.

Melis del Rey is a board member of Cosmetic Executive Women, a non-profit Beauty Industry organization.
