In breaking news this morning, Sephora has teamed up with the Golden State Warriors pro basketball team, and Chase Center, its home town arena, as official fragrance partner. “As part of the collaboration, Sephora and the Warriors will produce exclusive digital content throughout the season, including a dedicated social series highlighting players and members of the Warriors Dance Team on game days,” reports WWD.

In other retail headlines, Credo Beauty is rolling out Credo Qualified, a contract manufacturer certification program, and a Clean Beauty Council, to guide its clean beauty standards. “We wanted to take the rigor of our Credo Clean Standard and bring it upstream to address this big picture [in an effort] to open the conversation, and the playbook, around this contract manufacturing behemoth,” Christina Ross, head of science and impact at Credo Beauty, told Glossy.  

The biotech skin care brand Cellugy has appointed Steven Schnittger to its board of directors. “Schnittger brings more than three decades of experience shaping innovation and strategy at The Estée Lauder Companies, where he most recently served as Vice President of Global Microbiology and Fermentation,” reports Happi.

In financial news, Global Cosmetics News reports that Korean beauty exports are on track to “overtake the U.S. and become the world’s second-largest cosmetics export category this year, according to Silicon2 CEO Kim Sung-woon.” And in other updates, Interparfums (IPAR) has reported net sales of $1.48 billion for 2026, an increase of 1% from its 2025 outlook, and diluted earnings of $4.85 per share, representing a 5% decrease.

CEW’s The Beauty of Giving Luncheon returns on December 4. In other beauty headlines this morning, Weleda is making a colorful foray into skin care with the release of a range of six, concentrated Serum Booster Drops. Meanwhile, Bondi Sands is recalling all batches of its Zinc Mineral Broad Spectrum UVA & UVB Protection Sunscreen SPF 50+ Face Lotion 60ml and its Zinc Mineral Broad Spectrum UVA & UVB Protection Sunscreen SPF 50+ Body Lotion 120ml. “A recall notice published by Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) said the products may appear to have an uneven texture and visible water separating from the product,” according to Beauty Packaging.

L’Oréal USA partnered with non-profit Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) for the company’s annual Have A Beautiful Day event, marking the second year of partnership between the brand and PVA, with the event honouring US veterans, wider military personnel and their families.

Korean Beauty Exports On Track To Overtake U.S. “Data from Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety shows Korean cosmetics exports reached US$10.2 billion in 2024, up 20.3 percent year over year, positioning the country third globally behind France and the U.S.,” according to Global Cosmetics News (GLOBAL COSMETIC NEWS)

Interparfums (IPAR) Reports Net Sales. “Interparfums said foreign exchange gains should offset part of the impact and that investments in new brands and product launches will pressure results in 2026 ahead of planned distribution ramp-ups in 2027,” reports Seeking Alpha. (SEEKING ALPHA)

Bondi Sands Sunscreens Recalled. “A recall notice published by Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) said the products may appear to have an uneven texture and visible water separating from the product,” according to Beauty Packaging. “If this happens, the product is not properly mixed, and this could affect the SPF rating and mean users are not getting the level of protection promised on the bottle, according to the TGA.”(BEAUTY PACKAGING)
