Emma is a fragrance expert, writer, and Internet friend to over 135K. She’s the creator, host, and producer of the popular fragrance podcast Perfume Room, loved by listeners for its blend of entertainment, sincerity, education, and accessibility.
She’s a graduate of Cinquième Sens and is the founder of Perfume Room Smell Club—a community offshoot of her podcast that boasts hundreds of members. Best described as ‘a book club, but for scent,’ each month, in partnership with the retailer LuckyScent, Emma curates thematic sample packs and guides members through fun and informative smelling sessions and events
Before launching her perfume career, Emma was a matchmaker for New York’s creative scene and host of In a World: The Dating Show, a cult-favorite comedy dating show (featured in the NYTimes, Pix11, New York Comedy Festival, WSJ, and more). Most recently, she created an entirely new dating show, called Smells Like Love, entirely driven by scent.
She’s been part of The Fragrance Foundation’s Fragrance Day, The Fragrance Foundation UK’s Fragrance Week, a judge of the Jasmine Awards and has been a speaker on numerous expert panels. Her writing has been published in Highsnobiety, and she’s been featured in the NYTimes, WSJ, Allure, HighSnobiety, NYLON, HypeBae, W Mag, Refinery 29, Time Out New York, Pix11 News, NY Comedy Festival, Shape Mag, WSJ, InStyle, Esquire, and many podcasts.
