Amy Abrams is the Vice President, Merchandising, Makeup at Sephora. She is responsible for overseeing the strategy, assortment curation, and brand partnerships to maintain Sephora’s position as the premier destination for beauty. She and her team are dedicated to continually evolving Sephora’s makeup assortment delivering a diverse mix of innovative, trend-forward, and inclusive products that cater to the unique needs of every customer.
Joining Sephora in 2013 as Senior Director of Merchandising, Makeup, Amy has been instrumental in the transformation of the makeup category. Her expertise in identifying whitespace opportunities and fostering strong brand collaborations has contributed to Sephora’s continued success in the category. Amy’s strategic vision has led to exclusive product launches – like Haus Labs by Lady Gaga – while driving key differentiators such as clean makeup featuring brands like Saie, Merit, and Tower28 and luxury makeup with brands like YSL, Armani, and Prada. Amy’s ability to collaborate with brand founders, industry influencers, and thought leaders, combined with her talent for spotting emerging trends and anticipating customer needs, has been central to bringing compelling, prestige products to Sephora’s shelves
Prior to joining Sephora, Amy held key positions as a buyer across the fashion and retail space, including at Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale’s, and Gucci. Amy earned her B.S. in Marketing from Tulane University. She currently lives in Berkeley, California with her husband, son, dog, and cat.
