
Erica Roberson-Peters is Vice-President of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion for L’Oréal’s Professional Products Division (PPD) and has nearly 20 years experience in the beauty industry working for global companies including Procter & Gamble, Unilever and currently 9 years with L’Oréal. Erica has held many impactful roles throughout her career, including leading global brand development in the textured hair category with Unilever and L’Oréal (Mizani) and shaping inclusive brand marketing strategies for global brands, including Olay, COVERGIRL, and Pureology.
Erica’s leadership and cross-functional collaboration has led advancements in product development, consumer research approaches and brand communications strategies. Her impact reaches far beyond the boardroom. In 2017, she co-founded Facets of Beauty, a nonprofit organization that provides young girls of color with exposure to education and career opportunities in the beauty and fashion industries.
As the head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion for L’Oréal Professional Products, Erica leads efforts across the division to impact employees, consumers, and the professional beauty industry at-large. Erica’s passion for a diverse and inclusive beauty space led her to launch THE TEXTURE OF CHANGE™, an initiative amplifying L’Oréal Professional Product’s commitment to providing inclusive and equitable access to textured hair education and business resources for salons, hairstylists and cosmetology students. Erica’s steadfast commitment to advocacy helps to ensure that all beauty enthusiasts feel seen, heard, and valued throughout the professional hair industry.
Erica received a B.S. in Finance from Hampton University and an MBA from The University of Michigan Ross School of Business. She also holds a Master’s in Cosmetic & Fragrance Marketing Management from the New York Fashion Institute of Technology. Erica is also a proud lifetime member of Dela Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
