Kevin Cureton is the founder and Chief Operating Officer of Solésence Beauty Science, a developer and manufacturer of clean, inclusive, SPF-infused skincare and makeup named Fast Company’s #2 Most Innovative Company in the World in Beauty for 2023. Solésence leverages its proprietary Active Stress Defense™ technology suite to bring award-winning, patent-protected, environmental protection beauty products to market through dozens of brand partners across beauty categories, making critical skin health products not only accessible to all but also a joyful experience for all.

Kevin has spent over 20 years in senior management roles on the supply and technology side of the beauty industry. The author or co-author of over a dozen US and foreign patents, he is passionate about defining how through technology we can collectively improve the content, character, and quality of human life. With a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he specialized in marketing and business strategy, Kevin’s experience includes leading and advising a range of technology and product businesses, including ingredient companies, digital technology startups, and manufacturers and marketers of skin care, dermocosmetic and beauty products – including helping launch one of the first applications of facial recognition technology that allowed consumers to receive personalized product recommendations based upon their skin type.

Kevin served on the board of trustees for Marillac St, Vincent Family Services which provides education, health and social support and training to families on the west side of Chicago. He is also a proud husband and father.
