She began her career and her talents were quickly picked up by L’oreal working on platform and teaching as an educator. With over 20 years of experience in the salon industry, she has become one of the most sought after colorist in NYC. Before opening The Team, Michelle worked at Frederic Fekkai’s flagship salon on Fifth Ave NY as one of the top colorist specializing in balayage and corrective color. Michelle was one of the educators for Fekkai’s training program, traveling nationally to educate new recruits as well as giving seminars on newest color techniques and trends. She has built a strong network of loyal elite clients from NYC to clients that travel all over the world to come see her. Michelle has worked on various celebrity clients including Sigourney Weaver, Bon Jovi, Amy Schumer, Marcia Gay Harden and Peyton List, . She also works closely with renowned model agencies and major social, fashion and beauty influencers. In 2012 Michelle founded Brush hair salon in Flatiron, NY. She grew the team from ground up and has managed to hand select talents as well as training all her stylists and colorists. Michelle has grown a successful business that is a staple in the Flatiron neighborhood. In 2022, Michelle opened a new exclusive oasis on Fifth Ave in Flatiron NY as NYC The Team.
