These exceeded the 84.38 billion euros forecast by LSEG analysts, according to the article, which notes that, despite a strong performance by Sephora and revenue growth in key markets, “profit was impacted by exchange rate fluctuations and declining sales in some key brands.” Bernard Arnault, Chairman and CEO of LVMH, said, “In 2024, amid an uncertain environment, LVMH showed strong resilience.”

In other LVMH news, Sephora has premiered its first international film, Beauty & Belonging, as part of BrandStorytelling at Sundance. Featuring conversations with 75 Sephora employees, it’s billed as an ‘immersive documentary’. Meanwhile, Stella McCartney has bought back the minority stake of her eponymous fashion business from LVMH, having launched her minimalist beauty range, Stella, in 2022. She will still serve as an “ambassador and sustainability advisor” to the executive team, reports WWD.
