In brand news, Merit is saying bonjour to France, as it launches in the country, direct-to-consumer, this week. “We’ve had quite a lot of demand from the French consumer,” commented Philippe Pinatel, Chief Executive Officer at Merit. “I think we’re going to learn a lot about international deployment by launching in France.” And speaking of all things French, Dior has tapped Emily in Paris star Ashley Park as its new Global Ambassador, across both fashion and beauty.

Closer to home, skin care brand Indie Lee has launched at Costco, and Macy’s Flower Show will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a new partnership with YSL Beauty. “YSL The Art of Flowers” will be unveiled on Sunday, April 27, running until Sunday, May 18, at Macy’s Herald Square. Meanwhile, Guerlain is opening the doors to its largest spa this summer, at the Waldorf Astoria New York.
