The real challenge is not just having the best ideas but bringing those technical innovations to life for our customers,” explained Yizar, who oversees the stewardship of Unilever’s roster of hair care and skin care brands for the North America market.

Both Yizar and Headley will be honored at CEW’s 2025 Achiever Awards Luncheon in Manhattan on April 30, marking the 50th Anniversary of the program, to be keynoted by women’s advocate and non-profit creator, Reshma Saujani.

In breaking executive news, Kering Beauté has appointed Nathalie Berger-Duquene as CEO at Creed, effective May 6. Berger-Duquene joins from The Estée Lauder Companies, where she was Global General Brand manager of Balmain Beauty. Berger-Duquene, who will be London-based, will join Kering Beauté’s executive committee, reporting to Raffaella Cornaggia ,who has been managing Creed since the departure of Sarah Rotheram last October.

Speaking of women in leadership, Julia Bonner, founder and President of Pierce Public Relations, shares 5 Reasons Why Women Build Great Companies in an interview with Authority Magazine via medium.com. “One systemic barrier that frustrates me is the language used around women-owned businesses,” noted Bonner. “The way we talk about female founders and executives needs to change. In hair care, Beyoncé’s brand Cécred has made its debut at over 1,400 Ulta stores across the U.S., reportedly making it the retailer’s largest ever exclusive hair launch. Meanwhile, OGX, Kenvue’s mass-market hair care brand, has tapped Canadian actress Shay Mitchell as its first global brand ambassador.
