Today at CEW, we spotlight the Makers Mindset Workshop & Grant, a new opportunity designed to nurture early-stage female entrepreneurs. Launched to coincide with International Women’s Month, the project was founded with the help of Nancy Twine, and is open for applications through March 31. “With a focus on supporting women-owned businesses, the ideal applicants are generating revenue, actively scaling or in the process of launching a consumer goods brand,” writes CEW reporter Paige Herman-Axel.

In case you missed it, we go behind the scenes at CEW’s exclusive event with Artemis Patrick, President and CEO, Sephora North America, hosted by Dotdash Meredith last Tuesday. CEW’s Andrea Nagel reports on the powerhouse gathering, which drew an audience of 350 beauty executives.

Also at CEW, Britney Branch, CEO & Mindset Coach at The Boss Up Agency, shares her expert strategies to help entrepreneurs and thought leaders break free from the cycle of self-doubt, and step into the life they deserve. “What if you decide you’re capable of silencing negative self-talk and becoming your most bossed-up self?,” asks Branch. Meanwhile, CEW reporter Didi Gluck sits down with BeautyHealth President and CEO Marla Beck, who shares her progress and plans for the company.

Speaking of female leadership, Meghan Markle is launching a new podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder, with Lemonada Media. “I’ve been having candid conversations with amazing women who have turned dreams into realities, and scaled small ideas into massively successful businesses,” The Duchess of Sussex said. “They’re opening up, sharing their tips, tricks (and tumbles), and letting me pick their brains as I build out my own business.” The first episode will air on April 8, and a trailer drops on March 25
