In breaking executive beauty news, Initio Parfums Privés has announced that Julien Sausset, CEO, will be stepping down from his position at the French perfumer, after 10 years in the role. He will be succeeded by Patrice Béliard, on October 1. Béliard’s career has spanned 25 years working for brands including Shiseido and the Estée Lauder Companies, where he was most recently global president of Kilian Paris, Éditions de Parfums Frédéric Malle, Darphin Paris and Lab Series.

In other fragrance headlines, Bottega Veneta has unveiled its first retail scent counter in the US, at Bergdorf Goodman. Meanwhile, Bobbi Brown’s Jones Road Beauty has launched a second, unisex scent, BKLYN. Brown bills it as the “fragrance equivalent of your favorite lived-in jeans”. Meanwhile, IFF has expanded its LMR Naturals site in Grasse, France, following a 10-million-euro investment.
