COO & Co-Founder

SeeMe Index

Over the last 20+ years, Jason has guided the largest global brands in beauty, CPG, auto, and tech on rapidly shifting consumer behaviors. Most recently at Google, Jason led data science and insights strategy for the BrandLab and Human Truths teams, where he published cutting-edge research and developed the Everyday Allyship training for thousands of colleagues. Previously as a brand director for Maybelline, Jason was a catalyst to relaunching the Fit Me foundation range to be more inclusive in 2015. With years of experience motivating brands to think and act differently, he focuses on measuring the “unmeasurable” and utilizing data to unlock hidden DEI opportunities.

In 2023, Jason and co-founder Asha Shivaji launched the SeeMe Index. The SeeMe Index is an innovative tool that measures, benchmarks, and celebrates brands’ inclusivity efforts. The Index uses responsible AI to score brands on their consumer-facing inclusivity efforts across three dimensions (brand assets, product offerings, and DEI commitments) and six identities (gender expression, age, skin tone, sexual orientation, body size, and visible disability). The highest-scoring brands receive “SeeMe Index Inclusive Certification” providing consumers with unbiased insight as to which brands are living up to their inclusivity expectations.

The SeeMe Index will be released annually alongside a report providing benchmarks and insights to raise the bar for the entire beauty industry. The SeeMe Index will also provide consulting support for brands looking to improve their inclusivity efforts and increase their score.
