In breaking beauty news this morning, Rhode has announced its global expansion into Sephora U.K. It marks the first move outside of North America for the brand, which was co-founded by Hailey Bieber and Lauren Ratner. “We have obviously been planning with Sephora for a really long time,” Bieber told WWD, in an exclusive interview. “You can anticipate and hope for how you want it to go, but you don’t really know until the launch, and you’re in there.” The range will enter Sephora U.K. on November 10.

In other international headlines, the 29th Beautyworld Middle East will take place October 27 through October 29, at the Dubai World Trade Centre. CEW’s Andrea Nagel has a full report on the event, which will feature 2,200 brands from 70 countries and draw over than 75,000 attendees. “For exhibitors, buyers and brands, this year’s edition of Beautyworld Middle East represents a chance to tap into a fast‑growing beauty marketplace, discover ingredients, packaging and manufacturing innovations, as well as engage with the supply chain across cosmetics, skin care, fragrance, hair, nails and salon services,” writes Nagel. “For visitors, it offers exposure to global network‑building, innovation spotting, and trend‑forecasting in a dynamic hub.”

In body care, Hanni has raised $2 million, bringing the brand’s total funding to $9 million since its 2021 launch. Meanwhile, Global Cosmetics News reports that H&M is planning to sell a $583 million eight-year bond, its first in two years, after quarterly results were stronger than expected.

On the manufacturing front, The Estée Lauder Cos. (ELC) is celebrating the 60th anniversary of its Oevel Manufacturing campus, in Belgium. “Nearly 60 years ago, my grandparents, Estée and Joseph Lauder, laid the cornerstone of our first facility here in Oevel, establishing what would become a vital part of our global operations,” said William P. Lauder, Chair, Board of Directors, ELC.
