This afternoon, more than 1,000 guests attended Cosmetic Executive Women’s (CEW) 43rd annual Achiever Awards Luncheon at the New York Hilton Midtown to celebrate the accomplishments of five of beauty’s most outstanding female executives. And, for the first time, CEW recognized the contributions of a male leader’s advancement of women with the inaugural MEN-tor Award, which was presented to Marc Rey, President and CEO, Shiseido Americas, for his role in advocating for and increasing the presence of female leaders. CEW also recognized seven mid-career female professionals, who were honored this past April at CEW’s annual Top Talent Awards, held at the Union League. The industry-wide support for today’s event helps fund a year’s worth of CEW’s professional development programs and initiatives for tomorrow’s future leaders. Heartfelt speeches were delivered by each of the 2018 Achiever Awards recipients, who shared the inspiring stories of their successes and the importance of the award recognition.

The awards were presented to: Danyelle Boilard Paul, EVP & General Manager, Groupe Clarins USA; Lynn Emmolo, Chief Global Officer, Rodan + Fields; Tiffany Masterson, Founder & Chief Creative Officer, Drunk Elephant; Vasiliki Petrou, Global EVP Prestige, Personal Care, Unilever; and, Tara Simon, SVP, Merchandising, Ulta Beauty.

Additionally,

Shavit Shapiro, Founder and Chief Creative, Amkiri, was honored with the Scent Innovator Award, presented by IFF, for her creation of a long-lasting fragrance ‘ink’ that is applied to the skin as body art.

The Top Talent Honorees acknowledged during the program are: Brooke Banwart, Vice President/DMM, Fragrance, Sephora; Doreen Bucher, Vice President, Global Marketing, Fine Fragrance, Symrise; Barbara Green, Head of Research & Development, NeoStrata Company Inc.
