On Friday L’Oréal USA announced the promotion of Megan Grant to President, Luxe Division. She succeeds Xavier Vey, who was promoted to General Manager, Western Europe zone for the Luxe division effective July 1, 2019.
Megan joined L’Oréal in 2002 as a Marketing Manager for L’Oréal Paris. In 2009, she transferred to the Luxe Division as VP of U.S. Marketing for Kiehl’s Since 1851. In 2013 she was promoted to Deputy General Manager in 2013. The following year she joined The Body Shop as U.S. General Manager. In 2017, she returned to Kiehl’s as U.S. Brand President. Through her strong leadership and business expertise, she has been instrumental in the continued success of the Kiehl’s brand in the U.S. market.
Xavier, who joined L’Oréal in 1998, came to L’Oréal USA in 2013 as President of Lancôme’s U.S. business, where he successfully advanced the brand above $1 billion in sales. He has led the Luxe division in the U.S. since 2016 and during his tenure he innovated in ecommerce and omni-channel strategy to accelerate growth across the division. Under his leadership, L’Oréal’s fragrance portfolio became number-one in the category.
Succeeding Megan as head of Kiehl’s is Ginny Wright. Ginny is currently the Global Deputy General Manager of Ralph Lauren Fragrances.
