Target announced on Monday plans to open a 43,000-square foot small-format store in Manhattan’s Herald Square. The two-level store will have two entrances, one off of 34th Street, and the other off of 33rd Street, and will offer health, personal care and beauty products as part of its merchandise mix.

Slated for an October 2017 opening, the store, to be located at 112 West 34th Street, will be the company’s third location in Manhattan, joining the Harlem and Tribeca locations. Future small-format stores in Manhattan include sites in the East Village (projected for summer 2018) and Hell’s Kitchen (projected for 2019).

The Herald Square store will feature modern décor elements, including concrete floors, wood plank walls and ceilings, pendant and LED lighting and elevated merchandise assortment displays. In addition to beauty, apparel and accessories, grocery, stationery and home items will be sold at the store. Self-checkout lanes, a CVS pharmacy and the ability to buy online and pickup in store will also be offered.
